Star Assembly 16th November 2018

Everyone looks very spotty for our Star Assembly today! Of course it is Children In Need day. Thank you for all your generous donations, they will go to local good causes. You can look up the projects that have received funding from CIN on their website.

Well done to Class 3 for their fabulous assembly yesterday! Mena, Isabelle, Evie and Oscar received a special mention for their parts.

In Class 1 well done to Oliver, Maisie, Sienna and Freddie for their hard work this week. Class 2's stars this week are Eva, Bobbie-Leigh, Maisie and Toby, well done to them for their awards.

Nellie P came 3rd in the cross country race at Newsome High School and brought in her medal. She is obviously going to continue to go from strength to strength – watch out for her name in the future!

Well done to Evie and Elsie for their swimming awards.

Remembrance Service

Thank you to all the village community, Cumberworth First School and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant for attending our Rememberance Service.

Class 3 were amazing with their readings and I would Like to Thank Harry for playing the “Last Post” as well as West Yorkshire Police for stopping the traffic at 11am.
